Thank you for giving Specialty Brokerage Services the opportunity to earn your business. Specialty Brokerage has roots leading back to the mid 1990s. We were formerly 2929 Service Corp. in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and Park Circle Corp of Westfield Center, Ohio. In 2002, we restructured our operation combining both locations under the name of Specialty Brokerage Services. At that time, we decided that our Lancaster location would be dedicated to personal lines while our commercial operation would be relocated to Columbus, Ohio. Both sides of our operation have grown tremendously since 2002.

We now offer many coverage types and availability in many more states than in our previous operation. Tricia Curnutte - Specialty Brokerage Leader, 1-800-277-2159 ext 7744

Tricia began her insurance career in 1991 at Insurance Intermediaries, Nationwide’s wholesale brokerage facility. In 2002 Tricia joined Specialty Brokerage Services as a commercial producer then in 2006 moved into a leadership roll for the sales staff. In 2007 Tricia took overall responsibility for the commercial division of Specialty Brokerage Services and then in 2010 Tricia assumed the leadership role of our personal lines division as well. During Tricia’s 20 years of wholesale experience she has taken part in virtually all aspects of brokerage placement.

Barb Hinson - Sr Underwriter, ext 7790

Barb joined us from Insurance Intermediaries Inc. in Columbus in June 2002. Prior to that, she worked for Hartford and for Willis Corroon on the PENCo Program. Barb has 30 years of insurance experience including 25 years on the wholesale agency side. Barb specializes in new business placement with emphasis on larger complex accounts.

Tiffany Buchs, CIC, AU - Commercial Underwriter, ext 7880

Tiffany joined us in May 2007 from excess & surplus lines carrier, Century Surety. Tiffany has been in the insurance industry over 11 years, starting her career with a retail agency. She holds an Ohio P&C license and AU & CIC designations. Tiffany is responsible for new business placements.

Tibet Donovan - Renewal Underwriter, ext 7882

Tibet started her career with Westfield in January of 2000 as a Commercial Lines Rater. For 3 ½ years she was a part of the Commercial Lines team working the in the Northern Ohio Division. Tibet took a brief hiatus to raise her two children and became a part of the Specialty Brokerage Services team in December of 2007 as a customer service representative. In 2009 Tibet assumed the responsibility of renewal underwriter, managing most renewal accounts under $25,000 in premium. Tibet holds an Ohio P&C license.

Myra Snider - Lead Customer Service Representative, ext 7766

Myra joined Specialty Brokerage Services in January 2006. She has been in the insurance industry over 30 years as a licensed customer service agent. Myra is responsible for the support of our new business sales staff as well as training new customer service representatives. Myra also assists agents with general questions as well as initial requests for applications. Myra holds an Ohio P&C license.

Anita Williams - Customer Service Representative, ext 7742

Anita joined us in October 2009. Prior to joining Specialty Brokerage Services, she worked for a captive agency as an Office Manager for over 6 years. She holds an Ohio P&C license, Life and Health license and has been an Ohio Notary Public since December 2003. Anita will be responsible for assisting our producers as well as policy issuance for our MGA markets.

Karen Volker - Accounting, ext 7816

Karen joined Specialty Brokerage Services in 2007. She is responsible for all accounting functions. Karen is also responsible for all of the surplus lines filings and payments for our operation.

Terri Kilheffer, API, CPCU - Marketing Specialist, ext 3

Terri joined Specialty Brokerage in 2001. She is a graduate of Elizabethtown College with a bachelor degree in business management. Terri earned her Associate in Personal Insurance (API) designation in 1999 and her Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation in 2010. Terri specializes in high value homeowners products with all four of our premier carriers. Her territory encompasses all states other than PA, MD, DE, NJ, NY, VA.

Sherry Busswood - Marketing Specialist, ext 2

Sherry joined our personal lines operation in 1998 (formerly known as 2929 Service Corp). In 2001, while we changed our name to Specialty Brokerage Services, Sherry continued to specialize in high value homeowners products. She now offers these products with all four of our premier carriers. Her territory is comprised of agencies in the following states: PA, MD, DE, NJ, NY, VA.

Curt Rhoades - Marketing Specialist, ext 1

Curt joined Specialty Brokerage Services in 2007. Prior to joining Specialty Brokerage, Curt worked in the billing unit within Westfield. Curt handles our mobile home and vacant programs as well as many support functions for our personal lines producers.
